Presidents and Prime Ministers of many of the countries participated.

This symposium addressed the moral and ethical aspects of the environmental crisis and visited toxic hot spots and earth healing green projects. The voyage culminated with the Patriarch and the Pope signing the historic Venice Declaration on the environment.
