Day of Prayer for Creation

Since 1989 when this observance was proposed, the Ecumenical Patriarch has issued a letter urging Orthodox Christians to embrace actions that honor and respect God’s creation.

Prayer is Orthodoxy's first line of defense of All Creation! Join OFT members and Orthodox Christians worldwide, every Sep 1st at the beginning of the Church year, in a special day of actions centering on personal and corporeal prayers for the world by which God sustains us.
